Under the Ford Foundation’s Weaving Resilience initiative, implemented through Humentum, CHAFO is participating in a regional capacity-strengthening programme targeting NGOs across southern Africa. Through a series of tailored webinars and practical sessions, CHAFO’s team is receiving training in Financial Management Best Practices, Budgeting Essentials, Internal Controls, Governance Fundamentals, and Fundraising Strategies. The programme aims to strengthen the institutional backbone of local civil society organisations to withstand financial, operational, and external shocks, ensuring mission continuity and accountability. CHAFO is applying this knowledge to refine its internal policies and develop a more resilient organisational structure.
